Caroline Hudson
As an abstract landscape Artist primarily working with paint and clay I appreciate and utilise the qualities of both mediums, which in turn satisfy my need for surface interest.
I strive to make Art that encapsulates my emotional response to the natural environment through building layers of texture and colour. Im based in Haworth West Yorkshire and feel fortunate to live very close to the moors, where I walk most days. I enjoy the wild open space and ever changing light. Being so close to this environment feeds into my work almost subconsciously back in the studio.
